Petani MAJU

Farmers look for what they can use tomorrow, while stakeholders assess commitment through reports. Legia designed and built the program site so neither gets in the other's way.

01About the client

Petani MAJU is a Syngenta Indonesia program that assists farmers through innovation, training, and sustainable farming practices. The site contains an explanation of the program and its pillars, the company's sustainability commitments, food security material, agricultural articles and insights, downloadable sustainability reports, and webinar registration.

02Challenge

The two readers are far apart. Farmers and extension workers look for things they can use tomorrow: how to control pests, affordable technology, and training schedules. Partners, institutions, and government assess something else, the company's commitments with targets that can be checked. A single flow containing both makes farmers go through corporate reports first, and vice versa. The program's content also grows every month, so new articles and documents need a place that does not disturb the existing page structure.

03Legia's approach

The program, sustainability commitment, and food security are split into three stand-alone branches, so farmers and stakeholders set off from different doors right from the navigation. The program pillars are shown as swipeable cards opened one by one, not as a long list, so each pillar gets its own explanation without lengthening the page. Sustainability reports are provided as files that can be previewed or downloaded directly from the page, complete with the file's date and size. Articles are tagged with a category and estimated reading time, and the webinar registration call to action sits close to them, because a reader who has just finished an article is the most likely to join the training.
