Office Network Installation & Setup
Legia sets up office network and server infrastructure, from the site survey to testing every point before handover. The result is handed over with a cabling plan and point numbering, so the next addition does not have to start with guesswork.

How much does Office Network Installation cost?
Office network cost is based on the number of points installed and the length of cable runs, not on floor area. The figure can only be confirmed after a site survey, because cabling routes in an old building and a new one differ a great deal.
- Number of network points installed
- Length and type of cable runs, copper or fiber
- Number and class of active devices
- Building condition and available routes
- Need to separate networks between areas

Why Legia
What you get
What is handed over is more than a network that lights up. These six things make it secure, traceable, extendable, and fixable without calling back the person who installed it.
-
01 · Design
Documented cabling plan
A cabling plan and point numbering, so faults can be traced without tearing open the ceiling.
-
02 · Reports
Every point tested and recorded
Test results recorded per point, not just a statement that the network is on.
-
03 · Design
Cables labeled at both ends
Each cable is labeled at the panel and at its point, so fault tracing starts from the label, not from pulling cables one by one.
-
04 · Infrastructure
Networks separated by function
Guest, office, and operational networks are separated, so one faulty device does not drag down the others.
-
05 · Ownership
Network security
A firewall, VPN for access from outside the office, and a separate guest network, set up to your needs and documented.
-
06 · Assurance
Work warranty
The installation work is warranted for the warranty period written in the contract, and the equipment follows the manufacturer's warranty in your name.

Ask the Legia team ↗What is an office network installation service?
An office network installation service designs and installs an office's network infrastructure: LAN and fiber optic cabling, equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points, and server racks. Legia does it with its own technicians, from the site survey through testing every point and handing over the cabling plan.
How much does office network installation cost?
The basis is the number of points, the length of cable and fiber runs, the number of floors, and the active equipment needed. Internet subscription fees and civil work such as wall chasing or repainting are not included. Legia gives the details after the site survey, and the survey can be taken separately from the installation work.
Does Legia supply equipment such as switches and access points?
Legia prepares a list of equipment suited to your needs and can help with procurement. Equipment is bought in your company's name, so the manufacturer's warranty and ownership stay with you.
What is the difference between LAN cable, fiber optic, and wireless?
LAN cable connects devices at workstations and meeting rooms, stable up to around 100 meters per run. Fiber optic serves as the backbone between floors or buildings, since it reaches long distances and is unaffected by electrical interference. Wireless is used for devices that move, and its quality depends on walls and the number of users. Offices generally use all three together, and Legia decides the split during the site survey.
Are the firewall and VPN part of the work?
Yes. Legia installs and configures the firewall, a VPN for access from outside the office, and a guest network separate from the office network. The rules are agreed first and the configuration is handed over in the documentation.
What is the warranty on the work?
The installation work is warranted for the period written in the contract: faults that originate in Legia's work are Legia's to fix. Equipment follows the manufacturer's warranty in your company's name. Routine upkeep after that is available through the IT Support & Infrastructure Management service.
Can the work be done without stopping office operations?
Yes. Installation is scheduled area by area and can be done outside busy hours or on weekends. The schedule is agreed before work starts, including which area is done first.
Can Legia fix a network installed by someone else?
Yes. Legia starts by tracing the existing cabling and testing points to map its condition, then shares the findings along with the fixes that need to happen first.
What do I receive after the work is done?
You receive the cabling plan, point and panel numbering, the test results for each point, device configuration documentation, and the Handover Record. These documents make tracing faults later much faster.
Where can Legia do network installations?
Legia installs across Indonesia, with priority for Greater Malang and Java. For locations outside that, survey schedules and technician visits are agreed first in the consultation, following the number of points and your building's access schedule.
Does the office network include routine management after installation?
Installation and routine management are billed separately. Network device monitoring and ongoing fault handling are available through the IT Support & Infrastructure Management service.
