01About the client

Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a non-profit humanitarian organization that focuses on children and works across faiths, part of the World Vision network. Its programs cover education, health, child protection, and community empowerment, run in 61 cities and regencies spread across 15 provinces.

02Challenge

The WVI site is not a brochure but a fundraising channel. The child sponsorship form asks for a name, email, phone number, and even file uploads, so a gap there means a leak of data from people who entrusted their support, not just a broken page. On the other hand, the content keeps growing: programs, impact stories, and new campaign pages. Component updates cannot wait for an incident, and the donation channel must not go down in the middle of a campaign.

03Legia's approach

Legia handles two jobs that support each other. Periodic maintenance keeps the site current through component updates, monitoring, and fixes as soon as something breaks. Security testing combs through the points that accept user input, especially the donation form and file uploads, and the findings are handed over with an order of handling. Because the site holds donors' personal data, findings that concern data are handled first.
