01What cookies are
A cookie is a small file your browser stores when you visit a site, so the site can recognize your next visit. Similar technologies such as localStorage work in much the same way: they keep data on your device, not on Legia's servers.
02Cookies the Legia site uses
legiatechnology.com sets analytics cookies only after you press Accept on the consent banner. Before you choose, no non-essential cookies are set and the Google Analytics script is not even loaded, so your IP address is not sent to Google's servers.
| Name / Group | Purpose | Type | Lifetime | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| legia-theme | Stores your light or dark display choice | Essential (localStorage, not a cookie) | Until you delete it | Legia |
| legia-konsen | Stores your choice on the cookie consent banner | Essential (localStorage, not a cookie) | Until you delete it | Legia |
| _ga | Distinguishes one browser from another for counting visits | Analytics, set only after you agree | 2 years | |
| _ga_* | Maintains the visit session state on the Google Analytics 4 property | Analytics, set only after you agree | 2 years |
This table is updated whenever a cookie is added or changed. Beyond what is listed above, the Legia site does not set marketing cookies, does not show ads, and does not share your data with advertising networks.
03Essential cookies
Essential storage is needed for the site to work as it should, for example remembering your display choice. It cannot be switched off through the site's settings, but you can still delete it through your browser settings.
04Analytics and marketing cookies
The Legia site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure the number of visits and which pages are read. The data is used to improve the site's content, not to target ads.
The service only runs after you press Accept. Until then, Google's consent signals (Consent Mode) stay in the denied state and the script is not loaded at all. The advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) stay denied even if you press Accept.
Google's privacy policy can be read at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Apart from Google Analytics, this site loads third-party resources in only one place: the Schedule a Consultation page uses the Cal.com scheduler, and the scheduler is only loaded after you press the Choose Schedule button. From then on your IP address is received by Cal.com, and the scheduler may set its own cookies inside its frame. Cal.com's privacy policy can be read at https://cal.com/privacy. The fonts used are served from Legia's own server, not from Google Fonts, so your IP address is not sent to Google by another route.
05How to manage cookies
The consent banner appears on your first visit. Declining and accepting each take one click, and whichever you choose does not reduce the content or function of the site.
You can withdraw that choice at any time with the button below. Withdrawing deletes the stored choice along with any analytics cookies already set, and the consent banner then appears again.
You can also delete or block cookies and site storage through the settings of the browser you use.
06What happens if you decline cookies
Declining analytics cookies does not reduce anything you can read or send on this site: all pages, forms, and files remain accessible. All that is lost is Legia's ability to know which pages are read. Clearing site storage also resets your light or dark display choice to the default.
07Changes to this policy
This policy is updated whenever the cookies the site uses change. Changes are announced on this page together with an updated effective date and version number.
