01About the client

The National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT) is a non-ministerial government agency that handles counter-terrorism in Indonesia, covering prevention, protection, deradicalization, and inter-agency cooperation. Besides running its programs, BNPT is also obliged to open public information, from official documents and reports to clarifications of false information in circulation.

02Challenge

A government agency's website serves people who come with firm administrative needs: finding a specific document, filing an information request, opening a procurement, or submitting a report. Channels such as PPID, LPSE, JDIH, and complaints must be available and easy to find, but if they are placed as ordinary links they all sink among the news. On the other hand, BNPT deals with false information circulating about the agency itself, so clarifications must be published as fast as news and be just as easy to search.

03Legia's approach

Public service channels are lifted into an icon grid right below the hero, so PPID, LPSE, JDIH, the inspectorate, and complaints are readable at a glance without opening a menu. The media center is split by type of publication, and hoax clarifications get a channel of their own on a par with press releases, rather than being tucked in as a news category. The document library is built as a search page with year and category filters, and each file has two buttons, read on the spot and download PDF, because some readers only need to check one section. Dark mode and the language switcher sit in the top row so they can be changed from any page.
