PT Adipradana Duta Usaha

Buyers of industrial components usually know exactly what they are looking for, and a catalog that can only be browsed from top to bottom forces them to open page after page. Legia built the catalog with two filter axes that can be used at the same time.

01About the client

PT Adipradana Duta Usaha is an industrial components supplier founded in 2000 and based in North Jakarta. Its products include mechanical and electrical spare parts, industrial equipment and systems, laboratory measuring instruments, and hard-to-find special items. Its services also include repair and maintenance of chillers, air compressors, and electric motors. Its customers come from the automotive, mining, textile, electronics, and maritime sectors.

02Challenge

An industrial component supplier's catalog holds thousands of items from dozens of brands, and its buyers generally already know the component name, the brand, or both. A catalog that can only be browsed in sequence forces them to open page after page. On the other hand, buyers with non-standard needs do not yet have a name for the item, so their search route has to be different. The goods are also not sold retail through a shopping cart but through quotations, so the final step is not payment and an ordinary shopping flow cannot be used as is.

03Legia's approach

The catalog has two filter axes side by side in the left column, tiered categories and a list of brands, both as checkboxes so they can be used together. A search box sits above both for buyers who already know the item's name. Special products and rare goods are split off as a branch of their own, since buyers with non-standard needs will not find them under ordinary component names. Each product page ends with a request-a-quote button and a share-by-message button, following how industrial buyers pass specifications to colleagues. The WhatsApp number, email, and location link sit in the very top bar, above the navigation, because questions about availability are usually asked before the catalog is browsed.
