About this role
As a Full Stack Developer at Legia, you build applications people use to do their work every day: internal systems, data dashboards, and customer portals. Most projects start from workflows that have outgrown spreadsheets, so what counts is not just clean code but whether people's work genuinely gets lighter.
You work alongside the infrastructure and security teams under the same roof, not at another vendor. Database design, deployment decisions, and security hardening are discussed together from the start of a project, not handed to someone else after the features are done.
Responsibilities
- Build features end to end: the interface, the API, and the database schema.
- Turn client needs into technical designs that can be built in stages.
- Write queries and data structures that stay sensible as row counts grow.
- Integrate with clients' existing systems: ERP, payment services, or third-party APIs.
- Follow the release process: pull requests, code review, and checks before anything reaches production.
- Fix issues reported by users, including tracing them to the root cause.
- Write the technical documentation delivered with the work at each handover.
- Take part in basic security checks with the Cyber Security team before release.
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience building web applications that real users rely on.
- Strong in at least one server-side language (e.g. PHP, Node.js, Python, or Go) and its frameworks.
- Comfortable with relational databases and able to read query execution plans.
- Understands modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript without depending on one particular library.
- Used to working with Git in a team, not just to store your own work.
- Can explain technical decisions in language non-technical people understand.
Nice to Have
- Has taken over a running system inherited from another developer.
- Familiar with Docker and automated deployment pipelines.
- Has worked with spatial data or maps.
